Setting
Reserve of the Biosphere
Lanzarote with its unique landscape is the most surprising island
in the Canaries. In the year 1994 it was declared a "Reserve of the
Biosphere" by the UNESCO. The island offers a great variety of
outstanding attractions to discover.
Mystic landscapes
The vulcanic landscape of the "fire mountains", the
wine region of La Geria, the golden sand beaches of
Papagayo and the crystal water of the Atlantic Ocean
are expressing this special beauty.
Eternal Spring
The Canary Islands are also known as the “Islands of eternal
spring” due to the mild temperature, which varies between 20 -
26°C with a lot of sunshine.
Cesar Manrique
You should not miss the visit to the most important
art and culture centres; the majority were created by
the famous Lanzarote architect and artist Cesar
Manrique. It is fascinating how he brought art and
nature into harmony.
